Excellent DJ and very good friend of ours dropped us this new medley of tribal goodness! Soaked with amazing hand percussion and full bodied rythyms, this is one to add to the shelf. I mentioned earlier to Solo about a while back when that wonderful remix Duke Dumont did of a Late of the Pier track called "Bathroom Gurgle", the sounds were like no other, forshadowing as to what was to come very soon in the house world.. This mix is an excellent representation of what we loved so much about that track! Enjoy!

Here is a new remix we just did of one of our favourite tracks on Claude VonStroke's summer album Bird Brain...we kept the original tempo, but flipped the beat into a club step kinda jam.

Snowblower a free event w/ Mr. Scruff!

Snowblower is a free outdoor music festival being put together by the City of Calgary on Saturday, January 16.
Our good buddy Arlen over at PK Sound was put in charge of curating the musical acts...and he has managed to book Mr. Scruff for a first time appearance in Calgary.

I'm pretty excited about this because I have been a fan of Mr.Scruff's since before I began djing...and for my first couple years as a selector his vinyls did not leave my crate.

Also featured on the bill are Pretty Lights, Beats Antique, and local hombre Bruno Changkye.

Sounds fun to me!
